About this Coffee
Our Kegwa AA microlot was produced by the Ngiriambu Farmers Co-Operative in Kenya's, Kirinyaga County.
Timely and selective hand picking is carried out in Kegwa. Cherry is delivered to wet mill the same day it is picked. Cherry sorting is carried out at the wet mill prior to the pulping. Red ripe cherries are separated from underipes, overipes and foreign matter. Processing utilizes clean river water (wet processing) that is recirculated before disposal into seepage pits. Sun drying on raised tables is done before delivery of the coffee to the dry mill for secondary processing.
Kenya AA often regarded as one of the best coffee beans in the world. Several factors such as growing conditions, processing, and grading all contribute to the inherent quality of these sought-after beans. The beans are of premium coffee varietals and available only for a limited time.
Kenya AA is a versatile option for food pairing and the floral and fruity notes of the beans complement many tastes and flavors. It is always an ideal coffee to pair with a sweet pastry or donut. The fruity notes will really compliment the sugary sweetness of the pastries. On the savory side of things, try pairing some Kenya AA with a strong cheese. The sour notes of the cheese will pair beautifully with the coffee’s acidity.
Kenya AA coffee give you a first-hand experience of what good African coffee should taste like! So don’t just drink this coffee, ENJOY it…
